For 15 years, I enjoyed a career as an early employee at tech startups, including Engine Yard, New Relic, and HashiCorp, focused on building their developer communities.
I had the privilege of helping build HashiCorp, an iconic open source company, beginning there in early 2015 when it was a ten-person startup through the IPO in December of 2021. The community programs I launched helped create widespread awareness of their open source tools, including Terraform, Vault, Consul, Packer, and Nomad, used by millions of developers today.
These days, I’m an investor at TQ Ventures, a small but mighty firm that has over $1B AUM. We raised our third fund of $500M that we split across early and mid-growth stage companies. Some of our investments include Cleanlab, Modern Treasury, MindsDB, Log10, and Diagrid.
